In the last chapter of John’s Gospel, the risen Christ appears to the disciples as they are fishing once again in the Sea of Galilee. After they have a miraculous catch, Jesus invites them to “bring some of the fish you have just caught.” He then sits down on the shore to have a meal of fish and bread with them. The tradition of the sacred meal in Christianity continues to the present day, as we will share communion 🍞🍇 with all those participating live from around the world.
This Sunday is also the 10th anniversary of the dedication of Toronto Centre Place back in November of 2015. To mark the occasion our associate pastor Roger Dodson will reflect on the congregation’s path and Becky Savage will offer our invocation.
