In declaring “I Am the Way, the Truth, and the Life,” Jesus reveals Christ’s essential nature to us and to all of creation. The Father, God the infinite source, is invisible and imperceivably remote, but God’s glory has been made manifest in Creation through God’s Word, Christ. But Christ is more than just a sign of the Creator. Christ is the Way — the dynamic, all-encompassing path — that leads to Truth and that is Truth. As we align ourselves with the Way and the Truth, we experience true, spiritual Life.
