One of my favorite songs. This video is really interesting. An islander family is in my background, down by the sand and sea so you can't see them. They were scraping scales off of the fish they caught, which you can hear in the background. The dad climbing the coconut tree behind me, which you can see in the video.

It's amazing how they just walk up the tree so naturally. I'd fall on my head and break what's not already broken in my neck if I tried that. He's tossing down young coconuts to his family. He put a knife in the coconut and drank the milk.

Ripe coconuts have a thick brown, fibrous husk that needs to be removed to access the coconut inside; but these young coconuts are only green and easy to open. Young coconut is more tender and a popular treat in the islands. One thing you learn in the islands is to never stand under a coconut tree unless you want to get knocked out by a falling coconut.
