CineFix - IGN Movies and TV | Beetlejuice Goes Hawaiian: The Bonkers Sequel We Almost Got @CineFix | Uploaded 3 weeks ago | Updated 1 day ago
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is scaring the box office and the ghost with the most is haunting theaters again. But this wasn’t the first time a Beetlejuice sequel was planned. Just a few years after the Netherworld’s leading bio-exorcist became an overnight pop culture icon, Beetlejuice almost went Hawaiian. With the Tim Burton trademark combination of gothic horror and weirdly bright dark comedy, Beetlejuice Goes Hawaiian has produced its share of cringe in fans over the years. But what if… what if it were great? We think it would’ve been, at least. Get your boards waxed and your teen romance romping because it’s time to take a look at how Beetlejuice almost went tropical.
