The National Unmanned Combat Aircraft Bayraktar KIZILELMA, developed by Baykar, successfully carried out its first captive flight test with ASELSAN’s high engineering product, the TOLUN munition.
Regarding the test of Bayraktar KIZILELMA with the TOLUN munition, Baykar Chairman of the Board Selçuk Bayraktar and Baykar shared posts on their social media accounts.
President of the Presidency of Defense Industries Haluk Görgün also shared about the test, stating that a new signature was made in the sky and that Bayraktar KIZILELMA had met with TOLUN. Görgün noted the following:
"Our National Unmanned Combat Aircraft Bayraktar KIZILELMA successfully completed the first captive flight test with ASELSAN’s high engineering product, the TOLUN munition.
This important test is not only about the integration of a munition but also a strategic indicator of the stage our air-to-ground integration capability has reached.
When the accuracy of TOLUN combines with the maneuverability of KIZILELMA, the result is a picture that will shape the combat doctrines of the future.
I sincerely congratulate our Baykar and ASELSAN companies, as well as all our engineers, technicians, and Presidency personnel who contributed their effort and intellect to this success. I wish that this capability, developed by the children of our nation, will be beneficial to the soldiers of our fully independent defense industry.
