Note: You have a 100% chance to obtain Killer Cat after Level 5, Killer Tank after Level 8, Killer Gross after Level 11, and Killer Cowbird after Level 12. This is Level 15 in the gauntlet, but unlike last year, a Dark Catseye is placed as a score reward for Lv. MAX, so it's worth going through this gauntlet in full.

This stage has a unique set of enemies fought in a gauntlet. Killer Cat, Killer Tank, and Killer Gross are all Dark variants of the respective basic cats while Killer Axe is an enemy base variant of Axe Cat. New to this year, Killer Cowbird is a Dark/Floating fusion of Cow and Bird Cat with an entirely unique build.

This year, there are 2 notable differences: Killer Cowbird has been introduced as an additional peon for the stage and Killer Axe as a result of the changes to animated base positioning now actually hits your own base. This forces you to complete the stage quickly since otherwise the Axe Base will slowly chip down your own base. Fortunately, the stage is very rushable.

Of course, there are 4 different units that come from this event, though only one is notable to go into detail about. I'll only give brief overviews of Killer Tank, Gross, and Cowbird.

Killer Cat, however, has a True Form, Radical Cat, which can be unlocked using 3 of each main color of Behemoth Stone.

Radical Cat (Lv.30):

Radical Cat was one of the first Behemoth Slayers added to the game and is intended to be a counter to the horrifying Pterowl Hazuku. With Strong and Behemoth Slayer combined, Radical has 130,333~162,916 HP and 7,232~8,680 DPS against Floating Behemoths at just level 30. At level 50, the HP with treasures jumps up to 258,750 and DPS jumps up to 13,788. If you desperately need an answer to Floating Behemoths, Radical can tank them, though you will likely need more than Radical to survive to deal with supporting enemies.

Outside of the specialty, Radical's stats are suitable against Floating and Behemoths, though his hefty cost and 3 KBs does make it hard to justify Radical compared to Octopus. Once you have access to Carpenter, Radical becomes entirely unjustifiable against Floating since he's outclassed by Carpenter in nearly every way. Against Behemoths, Radical can still pull some weight, but he'll perform notably worse without the added bulk of Strong.

I also can't leave out that Radical is a component of the powerful Bad Guys Research L combo with Lasvoss and Li'l Nyandam. Research combos are broken and might justify Radical being in the lineup for this fact alone.

Killer Tank Cat has identical stats to Tank Cat, except for costing 7,500 to spawn. There are no combos with this unit either. Killer Tank may very well be the worst unit in the game.

Killer Gross has identical stats to Gross Cat, except for costing 7,500 to spawn and having a gargantuan 700 range. Despite Gross having horrid stats past EoC, Killer Gross actually could be used if you are desperate for superbackliners. That being said, its stats are horrid and any usage is more of a meme than anything else.

Killer Cowbird, while being a fusion of Cow and Bird, takes their stats primarily from Bird, sharing Bird's HP and damage while standing at 270 with Single Target 170~470 LD. Also they cost 7,500 like the other Killers. This unit is unusably bad.
