From a £3 ceramic house from Home Bargains to a hauntingly beautiful Witch’s Cottage — this magical DIY transformation is full of eerie charm and vintage whimsy!
Inspired by Queen Anne architecture, I completely re-imagined this little house using everyday materials:
🏠 Lollipop sticks for wooden slats
🪵 Cardboard shingles for the roof
🔥 Matchsticks for the portico
🎨 A rich green dry-brushed finish with eccentric yellow trim
🕯️Faux moss, lace curtains, and stained glass windows for that spooky lived-in look
Inside, you’ll find vintage-style carpet, soft lighting, and one very mysterious resident — a storybook witch I won on a nostalgic staycation with my mum 🧙♀️💚
