The Baekje Historic Areas is an interesting and unusual UNESCO World Heritage Site. It covers eight locations and three cities across South Korea, with ruins and remains of the Baekje Kingdom, which ruled Korea for 600 years, through to the 6th century AD. To explore this site we visited the city of Gongju, home to Gongsanseong Fortress and some royal tombs. Let's go!
