The cemetery of Skogskyrkogården (pronounced scotch-KIERS-ko-garden) is a very unusual UNESCO World Heritage Site in Sweden! It's a modern cemetery, definitely the first one we have visited on the journey. It was designed and built in the early 20th century and revolutionised cemeteries: rather than being based around a local church, this cemetery was a larged wooded area for designed for peaceful contemplation. It's a very beautiful spot, and home to one very famous resident - let's have a look!
