Shirakami-Sanchi is a beautiful and remote UNESCO World Heritage Site in Japan. Located in northern Honshu, the site is a large area of mountain forest and almost completely undisturbed by humans. It's considered to be one of the last remaining undeveloped areas of land in all of Japan, and is a very beautiful environment. Unfortunately we didn't have the greatest weather during our visit, but we still very much enjoyed it! Let's go.
