Lovely day so thought I'd see if any of the lads fancied a quick Sunday morning run up to CTL in Cirencester for a coffee so decided to take the YB100 on its first outing of the year!
First gripe - who'd have ever thought a bikers cafe would be rammed on a sunny, warm, Sunday morning in April? Then there was the question of whether you need a big bike for touring and how someone on Youtube said that the Bonneville T100 was best for Sunday runs round the back roads but if you wanted to go touring the T120 had more ooomph ! CRAP !! I mean how many of these guys have actually been touring - I did see some riding past me at 100mph when I was doing the NC500 on my YB100 - I'm sure they enjoyed the views!!!
Then there was the perennial issue of the battery on my Yamaha XSR125 only recently replace which has gone flat through lack of usage for just three weeks. Grrrrrrrr 🤬.
Anyway....I need tocalm down a bit me thinks !
