Welcome to part 2 of my Firefly family tributes that I'll be putting out for now. This one's dedicated to arguably the second most well-known member of the sadistic clan, Vera-Ellen Firefly AKA Baby. She is the female member that gets all of the attention and is played by director of the trilogy, Rob Zombie's wife, Sheri Moon Zombie. While it is commonly made fun of the fact that he casts her in his every movie, on the bright side it shows how strong the union between this couple is. More to the point, Sheri's manic, crazy, and overall destructive performance as Baby is enough to make her into one of my favorite female horror icons, up there with Pamela Voorhees, Tiffany Valentine, and Amanda Young. The song choice was something that before hearing the track I would have had trouble with, but up until a few months ago it became a no-brainer that I wanted to use it for Baby. Hope you all enjoy and stay tuned for the last of the Devil's Rejects tributes I have, but I must say that it will not be Captain Spaulding, who I do plan on saving for October in my lineup of tributes for that month.
