Released in 2016, the nose behind Azzaro Wanted is Fabrice Pellegrin who is also known for Diesel Fuel For Life as well as Issey Miyake's l’Eau Super Majeure d’Issey.

Wanted opens with a brash and crisp burst of lemon and ginger, which is softened by lavender. It has a bubblegum element, which is hinted in the head but starts to show itself in the heart.
The heart is spicier with a fruity accord. It's often compared to green apple but its sweetness and lack of tartness makes it closer to red apple. It also delivers cardamom and a geranium floral hint. Cade oil, which is derived from Juniper, is smokey. This entire experience is often described as "bubblegum".
The base turns towards a musky gourmand profile. Dominated by tonka bean, it has hints of earthy vetiver and ambergris.
The life-cycle is surprisingly complex.

Longevity is somewhat wanting but during that time, the sillage and projection perform decently, leaving a trail behind the wearer and a decent scent bubble.
In terms of seasonality, Wanted is a versatile fragrance. It performs well during the mild months of the spring and autumn but may be deemed too light for winter and too heavy for summer.

In the fragrance community, there is some debate as to whether Azzaro Wanted is regarded as a unique scent as it uses concepts popularised by Paco Rabanne Invictus, Jean Paul Gaultier Ultra Male, and Thiery Mugler Alien Man.
The bubblegum scent is often regarded as cloying. However, it appears more popular for younger men in their late teens and early twenties. It is very approachable and women of that age group seem to like it.
