A Place Further than the Universe (Sora yori mo Tooi Basho) is a 2018 anime following 4 girls’ journey to Antarctica. Shirase Kobuchizawa, Mari Tamaki (Kimari), Hinata Miyake, and Yuzuki Shiraishi are all seeking some way to fulfill their youthful years, when they come together around this goal started by Shirase. Trying to find the traces of her mother, she works tirelessly to try and reach Antarctica, assisted by Kimari and the others as they all develop a deep friendship and uncover the meaning of adventure, from Yuzuki learning about connection to Hinata accepting its vulnerability.
