Madoka Magica is an all time classic anime from Gen Urobuchi, following a seemingly fun and happy world of magical girls, that transforms into a much more dark and twisted one. While it bears the name Madoka, the anime centers around a few character, from Kyoko, Homura, and Mami, to our topic for today Sayaka Miki. A tragic story of the cost of wishes and the selfishness of love, her decent into this twisted magical girl world provides her the strength to rush her foes; but at what cost?
Kill la Kill is the breakout hit from Studio Trigger, an absolutly insane meta parody of anime following Ryuko Matoi on her quest to defeat Satsuki Kryuin and learn the truth of her fathers death. With the help of her sentient outfit Seneketsu, Ryuko climbs the latter of Satsuki's academy, inching closer to the truth of their world; and her own being. Coming from some of the minds behind Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill provides some great and downright ridiculous action, makig Ryuko's power level exceptionally high. But is it enough to best every foe?
