Jill was one of the units that got a pretty substantial buff in ASF with the base conversation stuff from vanilla RD. Since she gives the Pass scroll to Micaiah in Chapter 1-9 and because the main characters of the game only get one thing from the base conversations (Ike/Micaiah), Jill gets Pass, which in this series translates to Vantage. So, Jill goes from one of the units that doesn't have a non-mastery skill to having one of the more powerful ones in the game, not including Nihil. And because she has access to 2 range weaponry, unlike Naesala, who also has Vantage, she is not completely dead in the water if she doesn't finish off the unit she is facing on her turn since she has a 70% chance to give her another chance. Vantage also pairs nicely with her mastery skill, Stun, because if she is not the one to initiate and the unit she is facing initiates from 1 range, she can Vantage into Stun and potentially get in four hits before her opponent gets any at all with her really high 70 Spd. Another thing that was buffed about her was her skill, which jumped up an incredible 17 points, giving her an extra 34% hit chance, which was the main issue that she had in ASU. Her Lck ended up staying the exact same, but her skill is very good at 53, meaning she initiates quite often, and as a result, she also has a great avoid stat of almost 200 with Wishblade equipped. Her bulk is Ok as well with 40+ Def and Res, and even though she has a lot of weaknesses from the Wyrmslayer to Thunder tomes/weapons, oftentimes units won't use them against her because of the aforementioned great avoid. If there is one thing that she struggles with, it's that her Str stat leaves a little to be desired with 56. It's still a decent number in the series, but because her mastery is just a crit with a secondary effect, she is unable to one-shot a decent amount of units.
