Nolan, the Reaver that is built like a Trueblade, is up next! Nolan has an incredible Skl/Spd combo with some Ok defenses. But the big difference between now and the last series was that his Spd went up a ton, going up 8 points! This is basically from the Affinity bonuses that I applied to the series, and since he has Earth affinity, he gained an extra 4 Spd. With this newfound Spd he doubles a majority of the cast and avoids being doubled by more units that you'd think would normally double him. This is very important for Nolan in this series because of the changes to the mastery skills becoming weaker. All of the 3x Str masteries were nerfed to 2x Str, and he has one of them, being Colossus. Now, instead of not being able to one-shot with Colossus, he can get an extra attack (or 3 with the Brave Axe) to potentially one-round the units he doubles with it. And because his Skl is also very solid, he will be able to proc it plenty. But perhaps the most important thing for Nolan is that he has Nihil. And because there aren't many units who can double him, it's doubly important for him because they will often have to survive multiple combats against him and either dodge his attacks or his Colossus procs. They could also try for a one-shot with a high crit weapon, but that option is also kind of worse for them now as well because of the upgraded Tarvos that he has for this series. In the last series it was a 1 range weapon that gave extra defense. But in this series it was buffed since I wanted to make Prf weapons more usable for all the units. So now, it gives the same Def bonus of +4, but it is also 2 range, something that axe users don't have as the S rank axe, Tomahawk, is their only real option as opposed to the Swords and Lances having Alondite and Wishblade, respectively. This gives Nolan a really nice weapon to stall with since it not only helps with lowering the threshold for crit kills, but also just the damage in general against him.
