Today I show you how to clone The Jackdaw in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
This is done thanks to a glitch that lets you buffer menu-related prompts, like the shop prompts. This buffered prompt glitch must be done before being able to clone The Jackdaw.
Activating the glitch (at shop prompts):
(a). Enter a shop at the moment of desync and buy the diving bell when prompted to by the game. Upon exiting the shop, you will desync and restart.
(b). Upon restart Edward is in a glitched state. If you try to activate menu-related prompts, they won't immediately activate. Instead, the prompt will buffer until a moment of your choosing - after a dysynchronized restart - simply by pressing "Start".
(c). Press a shop prompt and then desync yourself in order to restart, since you are unable to enter the menu at this point of the set-up.
(d). Right, upon a second restart the glitch set-up is complete. The game remembers that you earlier pressed the shop prompt.
Meaning that you can enter the shop menu at any moment by pressing “Start” and then upgrade/switch gear etc. even while you are far away from the shop, engaged in some completely unrelated activity…allowing you to change game-conditions at moments that you normally aren't able to.
(e). To clone the Jackdaw, you must enter the buffered-shop during a boarding sequence.
IMPORTANT EDIT: If you wish to take this glitched state to sea, make sure to activate the glitch at an island that you can leave without the game brining up the "Leave this location?" screen-prompts. Since using that screen ends the glitched state.

Points of interest:
1. When you clone the Jackdaw, the crew is also cloned, and both Jackdaws are functional. One Jackdaw is in its "boarding" state, while the other is in its regular state. You cannot enter the Cabin on either though, since the game considers both to be boarding.
Similarly, one crew's body language is in its "boarding" state, while the other is in its sailing or relaxing state.
2. Not in vid: During the cloning process, crew members can end up on the wrong Jackdaw, making their AI act oddly. Ropes can be found stretched along random areas and floating in mid-air.
4. Once you have won the boarding, the game usually softlocks with a black screen. However if the game manages to proceed as normal, one of the Jackdaws vanishes under your feet.
And the remaining Jackdaw is in - what I call - a "permanent boarding" state. Meaning that the game still thinks that the Jackdaw is boarding, in some respects. For example, if you try to enter the Captain's Cabin, the game tells you that you can't, since you are "boarding" (when you actually aren't).
One handy use of this permanent boarding state is that you are able to stop any combat that may be going on, simply by letting go of the Rudder (normally not possible during combat). This causes the battle to stop and you become invisible to the enemy. Once the enemy has gone, you can happily continue sailing, having avoided the battle.
More may be possible with this "permanent boarding" Jackdaw glitched state.
3. Cloning The Jackdaw while rope-swinging, can cause some violent effects. One Jackdaw can appearing spinning on top of the other, or one Jackdaw can start becoming vertical.
During the vid, I tried to reach the Rudder to see what would happen if I activated it and sailed while vertical. But my damn crew won the battle and foiled this attempt...
4. At the end of the vid, the scene has Edward slanted and the scene appears to take place underwater.
I've done a lot of tests with this glitch and others I've also found, so I've a lot of footage and much more testing to exhaust. More to come in good time...

On a different note, I bought a PS4, so expect some PS4 vids in the coming months.
My PS4 came with 5 games: Drive Club (never heard of it, not my type of game), The Order 1886 (never heard of it, semi-interested), Assassin's Creed: Unity (interested, will play for sure), inFAMOUS: Second Son (interested, will play for sure), The Witcher III (interested, will play for sure).
