Developed by Gameloft and originally released on the Nintendo DS in 2008, Assassin's Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles was published on Android and iOS devices in early 2009. Set before the events of "Assassin's Creed", Altaïr's Chronicles follows Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad's on his search for The Chalice', an artifact also being sought after by the Templars. Throughout his travels, Altaïr visits familiar locations Jerusalem, Acre and Damascus (seen in the console release) as well as new locations Tyre and Aleppo.

This is one of the many Gameloft games that I played and loved as a kid, though I remember the first level greatly but remember less as the game went on so I am not sure how far I got through it back in the day! It took me a while to get to this one on the channel purely because I had only just played the DS version a few months before I started this series so I wasn't ready to revisit it at the time 😅 The DS version was a lot rougher than this one though, mobile is certainly the best way to enjoy this game 😊 Despite some control issues, this game was still a real joy to play through, especially as an Assassin's Creed fan. Another win for Gameloft! 🏆
