Postal 4: No Regerts, developed by Running With Scissors and released out of early access on April 20 2022, is a direct sequel to Postal 2 and Postal 2: Paradise Lost. Featuring a very similar style, tone and gameplay to the previous titles, Postal 4 follows Postal Dude and his dog Champ as they attempt to retrieve their stolen motorhome in the fictional town of Edensin, Arizona.
It is worth mentioning that Postal 3 did release in between 2 and 4 (2011), however it was developed by a different studio and Running With Scissors have made it very clear that they want nothing to do with P3 and have retconned it in it's entirety. This one was a mixed bag for me. The game does still have the same vibe and wackiness that Postal 2 had, however I think the more condensed map served that game much better than the massive map this one had, as having to Scooter yourself around was just a pain. Plus, when recording this video, I was just focusing on the missions instead of goofing around, and purely looking at the missions I do actually this Postal 3 is the much better game out of the 2, despite RWS trying their hardest to abuse that game as if it is any worse that what they have produced here. 3 looked a lot better despite it releasing 10 years prior, and the linear structure made the game far more engaging that having to travel between missions like in 4. Overall, I still enjoyed my time as I have always been a Postal fan, but I would still say this is the weakest of the series.
