Originally released as “Brothers in Arms DS” on the Nintendo DS in 2007, Gameloft brought the game across to iOS devices in 2008 under the title “Brothers in Arms: Hour of Heroes”. While gameplay remained largely the same as the DS version, the iOS port saw improved visuals alongside new touchscreen controls to compensate for the lack of buttons and 2nd touchscreen seen on the DS.

Despite this being a port of a DS game, Hour of Heroes was still quite a feat to see on a mobile phone at the time, and still holds up as a fun play-through today despite its clearly dated visuals and controls.
