SCROLL DOWN FOR COMMANDS. Covering a few more basics to do with command blocks, this was something that someone asked me to make so yeah. Not meant to be an advanced video, just some basics.

x=row
y=column

checking for a point on the display (values x/y respective to point)
testfor @p[score_x=1,score_x_min=1,score_y=11,score_y_min=11]

moving up
scoreboard players add @p y 1
scoreboard players set @p[score_y_min=11] y 10 [ONE TICK LATER]

moving down
scoreboard players remove @p[score_y_min=2] y 1

moving left
scoreboard players add @p x 1
scoreboard players set @p[score_x_min=11] x 10 [ONE TICK LATER]

moving right
scoreboard players remove @p[score_x_min=2] x 1

reset cursor
scoreboard players set @p x 5
scoreboard players set @p y 5
