Modular, easy to build, pistonless, what more could you ask for?

Water elevators are not new, they are an ancient idea that has needed development for some time. I Intend to add a floor selection system for a much more complex version of this, but for now, this is a simple model that just about anyone will be able to build without much difficulty and without having to break the bank with resources (respectively speaking).

A simple concept really, making a collection of furnaces into a key hole system. Using this concept you could effectively make a key system using a line of furnaces and the signal strength to determine the use of the output.
More a proof of concept than anything, could have made it much more complex, but figured simplicity was key.

I am working on an adventure map (other than pirates) and there was a few things I needed, this being one of them. I started experimenting and came up with these. I have not seen anything smaller so I posted.

Yeah thats right, managed to compact it down to 6x6! A little bit of elbow grease and determination did the trick it seems :D
