This is actually the first time I've even put Armored Core 5 into my PS3. From what I can tell, they definitely changed the combat to be more intuitive to play. I love classic Armored Core, but I already dig the changes made in AC5. I can understand making with more of a mainstream appeal, trying to bring in new fans, while keeping elements of the previous games to please longtime fans. Do I still prefer classic AC? Yes, but I also dig the new direction that AC5 took the series as well. I love this series.
