This is from the Ratchet and Clank Collection on the PS3. I played pretty far into the original Ratchet and Clank on the PS2, but then a massive memory card I had for the PS2 died on me, and took my save. I still really enjoy this game, even if it doesn't have all the addictive RPG elements that were added in Going Commando and the rest. The next game in the series I played was Tools of Destruction. I managed to skip the two PS2 sequels until after I had already played through ToD. And truth be told, I still haven't gotten around to playing all the way through GC, or UYA.

The original holds up in level design and gameplay, even without the addictive RPG elements, it's still a well designed platformer, and a great example of it's generation. It's still a great game, even if it was surpassed by the later efforts in the series. I love this entire series.
