This is my third display. I've been with framework back and forth and trying to resolve this issue. As a reminder the original ticket was open in August 14 2024. Today is December 8 2024. As you can see it's not been resolved.
At this point I'm not really sure what framework has plans for me but I hope they would be quicker and responding. As a reminder it takes anywhere between 3 to 4 business days between each response, and sometime I've experienced anywhere between 5 to 7 Days realistically, so in reality it can be up to 10 days before I hear a response due to weekends. I'm sort of expecting it to take longer since it's close to the holidays makes everything so much worse.
Anyways, the honeymoon phase is over I cannot wholeheartedly recommend the framework laptop 16. While I love the mission, the execution is not there. If I had to start over again, I might have got their 13 inch model instead since it has more time to bake.
Unfortunate for me I am way past my return period, so I must now stick it out and see this through. I feel like by tie my fix all of the quality issues that there will be a new Apu / motherboard upgrade.
