If I turn it off and let it rest for a few minutes, it starts to play again but the take up reel sometimes stops. I had to turn it off so it wouldn't eat the tape.
After leaving it off for a bit longer, it works better.
Now I think if used for some time, the behavior will manifest itself. Prior to this happening, I just finished recording side A and B of this 100 minute cassette. I had to rewind and rerecord side B because I forgot to turn on Dolby B for side B (it was recorded with Dolby B on side A).
