Link's Journal:
Day 8
We finally made it to the Snow Realm. It's so cold here! I forgot to bring my winter cloak so I had to stop in a nearby town to get one. There are some odd creatures here in this town. Zelda told me they were the Anouki Tribe. She had the idea that maybe they knew about Steem's whereabouts. So, I asked around.
I found the chief of the village named Honcho. He said he knew where the Snow Sanctuary was but he needed my help first. Monsters have been appearing near the village lately and he wanted to split everyone up into pairs to start a watch. The only issue was that most of the villagers were picky about who they were paired with.
I asked the other villagers about their preferences and Zelda helped me find the perfect partner for them. Once we were done, Honcho told us that the Snow Sanctuary wasn't too far from here, but the tracks leading to the sanctuary were gone. He said that there were other tracks going through a cave nearby but no one uses it since it's home to a monster. We didn't really have a choice in the matter so we set off for the cave.
Everything seemed quiet in the cave at first until the monster came barreling toward us! I tried to drive the train as fast as I could, but the monster kept gaining on us. No matter how often I kept shooting it with my cannon it kept getting back up. The cave and the battle seemed endless until finally the monster was utterly destroyed.
