Ok, I am rewatching Sex and the city on TV every night, and just after it starts Covert Affairs. I haven't watched A LOT of it. I have watched random episodes of seasons 1 and 2, and the first 11 epiosdes of season 3. I downloaded the series now and I will watch it as whole, but after seeing 3x10 I couldn't resist making a vid about those two. I know many people ship Auggie and Annie, and maybe when I watch the whole series I will too, but now, I cherish their friendship and I kind of want them to stay just friends (I purposely haven't read many spoilers, though I know they do get together at some point).
As for Annie and Simon, I think their story was great. It was very unusual, the journey was believable. Piper Perabo and Richard Coyle did an amazing job, and I fell in love with this couple. So much that I downloaded first the third season and I made this video in two hours. It was just so beautiful - how it was just a mission for her, but she slowly fell in love, risking her job and life for him. And Simon knew from the beginning she was a spy, but he let her in and loved her anyway... I knew they were doomed from the beginning, but I think this is part of what makes them beautiful.

I am usually 100% opposed to the hate toward the writers, but this time, I cant help it! I HATE YOU SHONDA RHIMES! ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?! HOW COULD YOU KILL LEXIE, I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU FOR IT!
And the thing she said about it being her time, ARE YOU NUTS, SHONDA?! She was 26 or sth... I cant believe it, I still hope (even if I rationally know its true) that it turns out to be some sort of freaking nightmare. Zola will never remember her aunt Lexie. Cristina, Derek, April, Alex, Jackson, Callie, Arizona - they lost a friend. Tacher lost first Susan, now his daughter. Meredith pretty much never had her dad, she lost her mom, she lost friends, now she lost her sister. And Mark... He lost one baby when Addie aborted, he lost his (probably) first real love Addison, then he lost Sloan and his grandkid, and now he lost the love of his life just when he finally had a chance with her again. How is that fair and right?! Grr...
Lexies death scene was the MOST heartbreaking thing Ive ever seen on TV. And Ive watched MANY shows, but this, this is just too much. Greys anatomy will never be the same for me...
As for Lexie&Mark... I LOVE them so freaking much, and I always will. I never could imagine Lexie with anyone else. I never could imagine Mark with anyone else. I wanted them to happen even in s4. They were sweet, sexy, beautiful, epic, heartbreaking, perfect. When they were together and when they werent. I will now, more than ever, be unable to think of anyone else standing next to Mark. He will love her till his dying day. He will be IN LOVE with her in his last minute. I am sure of it. This scene, all the things he told her, is what was supposed to happen. Cause they are slexie and they are meant to be!

Ok, I finally finished it. It was pretty much making itself, actually. The song is just so them.
As I said on the preview, my feelings for Scandal are pretty mixed. Its good, but I dont find it as amazing as most people do, and I think some plot stuff are pretty naive. But it has perfect actors, directors and the writing of the characters is brilliant. I gotta say that most of the time I dont like Olivia or Fitz as individuals. And I also like Olake, even though I feel the same way about Jake that I do about Fitz and Liv. But that is what I find brilliant about the writing - that even if most of the time I dont like who the characters are, I feel for them and I understand them.
As for these two, they are both so messed up, so broken and so raw - that is what draws me to them. They have done horrible things for and to each other Sometimes they make each other better, sometimes they make each other worse. And even though in my own life I agree with Eddison that love isnt supposed to be painful, the pain is what make those two epic and amazing. The way they love each other is so much bigger than themselves. In real life, if any of them were my friend, Id tell them To hell with him/her, you shouldnt be with someone whose love hurts you and you loving them hurts you. But they are just so powerfully written and so amazingly played by Kelly and Tom that I cant help it.
Their last scene was so raw and emotional it made me shiver and inspired me to vid them.

Can I say that I am quite happy... no, scratch that, I LOVE how this turned out. And that is so unusual for me that I still cant believe it, but really, I think the final video is quite good.
Tbh, it was making itself. The song is written for them in every possible way. And that tiny scene where she ran into his arms and then his speech (that unfortunately Elena will never hear) inspired me immensly.
I tried to include both points of view, and also to put in moments from the first seasons as well as the recent scenes. I have this observation that you can rarely find a recent Delena video with scenes from... 1x03, 1x04, 1x18, 2x18, 2x20, even 3x03, 3x05. And while I quite like many DE videos Ive saw recently, I think now that they have all those hugs and kisses we shouldnt forget their beuatiful moments in the beggining that made us fall in love with them in the first place.
The editing is a bit different from my usual style maybe, but I think it works well with this song. The velocity changes were sth I decided on practically in the last moment, but I think they were a good choice. And it was because of that video that I decided to use some new sparkles :D
