Can I say that I am quite happy... no, scratch that, I LOVE how this turned out. And that is so unusual for me that I still cant believe it, but really, I think the final video is quite good.
Tbh, it was making itself. The song is written for them in every possible way. And that tiny scene where she ran into his arms and then his speech (that unfortunately Elena will never hear) inspired me immensly.
I tried to include both points of view, and also to put in moments from the first seasons as well as the recent scenes. I have this observation that you can rarely find a recent Delena video with scenes from... 1x03, 1x04, 1x18, 2x18, 2x20, even 3x03, 3x05. And while I quite like many DE videos Ive saw recently, I think now that they have all those hugs and kisses we shouldnt forget their beuatiful moments in the beggining that made us fall in love with them in the first place.
The editing is a bit different from my usual style maybe, but I think it works well with this song. The velocity changes were sth I decided on practically in the last moment, but I think they were a good choice. And it was because of that video that I decided to use some new sparkles :D

ABSOLUTELY NO BASHING AND SHIP WARS! Comments like that will be deleted!!! The point of this video is to show that loving one couples doesnt mean you hate the other. That fans have the right to ship, love, appreciate whoever they want without being insulted for it. To show tolerance and that each couples has had beautiful moments that its fans appreciate.
As you know, I am a Damon/Elena shipper (even though the writers are testing me and every Delena fan out there). BUT that doesnt mean I hate Stelena or Stefan. As a matter of fact, I LOVE Stefan. And Stelena had some amazing moments. I do think Damon is more right for Elena. I do think that Damon and Elena have a much more interesting and evolved relationship and bond, as well as better chemistry. I do want them to end up together. But that doesnt mean I am full on hating Stelena or insulting their scenes and stuff. If I criticize their scenes, its because I dont like the writing or the directing or sth, not just cause I wanna spit venom. I have criticized Delena scenes too. For example the 3x22 flashback that I still think felt forced, OOC for s1 and pre s1 Damon, etc. What I mean is that I hate the ship wars and we should all learn to be more tolerant and understanding and just appreciate the show.
As for the video, I am very happy how it turned out, I think it does justice to both couples, but I guess you will be the judges of that.
