A lovely gentle piece from William George Ross( 1881–1928), who also used the pseudonym Eric Webster.

*Biography *
William George Ross was born in Hammersmith, London, England, in 1881. He pursued a career as an organist and became an F.R.C.O. (Fellow of the Royal College of Organists) in 1909. 

His notable appointments included: 
* Organist of Christ Church, Marylebone, London (1901-1915).
* Assistant organist of St. Mary-Abbot's, Kensington, London (1916 onwards). 
He died in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1928. 

*Compositions*
Ross composed various pieces for the organ. A selection of his works were published in collections such as Novello's Selected Pieces for the Organ. One known composition under his pseudonym, Eric Webster, is Berceuse in E major.
