From atop the Temple of the Moon, looking toward the behemoth Temple of the Sun, the immensity of this ancient multi-cultural settlement known as Teotihuacan becomes obvious. What is not so obvious is how these indigenous people managed to build such structures without the aid of machines. Located a mere 30 miles northeast of Mexico City, the site is easily accessed by bus from Terminal Norte.
