The First Delphic Hymn was written to be performed during a Pythaid, an Athenians' ritual procession to Delphi. It was found in Delphi's Athenian Treasury, and it is a hymn to Apollo, the God of Music and Healing for the Greeks. It was found in Delphi's Athenian Treasury. Only its first part, a Paean, survives to this day. This is its first verse.
