This is "Anarchy" for the Commodore Amiga released back in 1990 by Psyclapse and developed by W.J.S. programming team, Wayne Smithson(code), Chris Waren(graphics), Kevin Oxland(graphics) and Ray Norrish(music).
It a Defender clone on steroids!
Everything in this game moves lightning fast and the action is constantly frantic!
The game has impressive graphics which are moving at 50 frames per second even when the screen fills with numerous sprites.
There is no in game music but there is a nice digitized heavy metal tune on the menu screen.
It also has a proper ending with a nice animation in case you beat the game and another in case you die.
I used savestates as well as some kind of slow down in order to finish the game. No cheats were used.

This is Overkill for the Commodore Amiga released back in 1993 by Mindscape and developed by Mark Sibly.
The game is based on Defender but its gameplay is different.
Due to the ultra fast action of the game, there were moments i couldnt figure out what was going on!
Very playable but very hard and unforgiving in places.
