I hacked together a quick little LED blinker to install inside a Halloween pumpkin. I programmed an Atmel ATtiny13 with a simple program written in C, flashed it, and then used it to PWM a 1W Cree LED. More details at brainwagon.org/making-an-attiny13-powered-pumpkin
