Netflix's live action Cowboy Bebop released last week, and safe to say their take on the classic 90's anime has garnered a negative review. But, a blind reaction or impressions still seemed to be in order, as someone who's dove deep into analyzing Spike, Jet, and Faye and their importance to Cowboy Bebop. There's a lot that could go right or wrong with this live action anime: the cast, the pacing, the dialogue, and so much more. Today, we'll review some of those aspects, and give a feel for if this one's worth a watch for anything more than the prop department.
Shinichiro Watanabe classic work follows the bounty hunters Spike Spiegel and Jet Black, as they constantly fall hard on their luck trying to make ends meat drifting through space. Eventually, they're joined by Faye Valentine, a mysterious woman with a troubled past, and Radical Edward, a brilliant, but untamed hacker. As the story progresses, we witness all their pasts, and how those keep them from moving into the future, and then what happens when the finally do move on, and what it all costs...
