Amtrak's San Joaquin passenger train has made its final run. On November 3rd, 2025, the San Joaquin name was retired and officially replaced with the new name Gold Runner. In this video we will talk about why the name of this train was changed and then look at a variety of scenes I filmed over the years of the Amtrak San Joaquin.
