Denver and Rio Grande Western number 315 is one of several small 2-8-0 "Consolidation" type steam locomotives from the once vast Colorado narrow gauge railroad system that has been restored to operation. Since returning to the rails in 2007, the locomotive has been used for various special events and the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad and the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad. In this video, we take a look at the 315 as it pulls a special recreated freight train over the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad.
