This video shows where to get first quests, where to reqruit characters, where to find stuff such as money, how to combat enemies, finishing few beginner quests, promoting characters at guilds etc. If I were to continue from here I would return to Twinlake to get another promotion for Droba, make use of my new Paladin character, finish off those Goblins at Jewel Inn Cellars, continue to build up skills / equipment and then proceed to some harder quests.
Original Atari ST release ported to Amiga and PC DOS. Very good epic RPG. Kind of hybrid between Ultimas and SSI AD&D games, but with turn-based combat system on grid. Sequel to Dragonflight and prequel to Ambermoon.
At the beginning of a game the main character is rat meat. It's essential to reqruit other characters for combat before main character has enough experience to get few class promotions. I took plenty of time to gather most quests in three major cities and collecting easy to get stuff before going into combat. If you're not interested about watching exploring, character interactions etc. you can skip straight to Twinlake sewers where the grinding begins.
01:00 Intro (music by Joachim Hippel)
06:32 Cemetery (beginning the game)
10:47 Twinlake (exploring)
24:25 Gemstone (exploring)
27:09 Crystal (exploring / reqruiting characters)
40:41 Twinlake Sewers (first combat / quest)
51:58 Twinlake Cellars (more experience grinding)
1:03:36 Crystal (fighting Goblins / finishing quest / trading / paladines guild)

![c64 games sid music compilation
I compiled this music for a CD about a year ago so I could blast my friends with it during our summer gathering at a lakeside cabin. Most of the music has been previosly uploaded to YT in separate videos by various users. This compilation mostly focuses on later era c64 game music and doesnt try to be my tier list. Its a collection of some tunes I was listening at the time.
I thought it would be fun to leave song names blank so everyone had a chance to guess. Name of the composer and the track the was added to track list after each correct guess.
All tracks were recorded from Sidplay and not from a real c64.
