One man has been showing off his amazing tricks by tying himself up in all types of different knots and poses. Aleksandr Batuev, 31, a circus and variety show artist, from Perm, Russia, has been a contortionist for the last twelve years. He has managed to create his own self training system, making use of his knowledge of anatomy and his own experience. Aleksandr said: "Sometimes it can be painful, especially when I learn something new, but step-by-step, the human body can adapt to this."You have to have a strong discipline because and you have to do it every day, otherwise it doesn’t work. "Before contortion I did parkour and I wanted to become a stuntman in Hollywood, but once I injured my knee and couldn’t do it anymore. "I decided to keep practicing somehow and started to do handstands and contortion. After while I realised that I had fallen in love with contortion."
