Venus is the second planet from the Sun, it has a dense amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and has about 90 times the atmospheric pressure of Earth, that’s about the same as the pressure at a depth of 1 km in the Earth's oceans.
The surface temperature of Venus is 462 °C which makes it the hottest planet in our solar system, even hotter than the Mercury and makes almost impossible for any life form to survive on its surface. Recently when scientists were studying Venus, they have found phosphine gas in its atmosphere about 28.5 miles above the planet’s surface.
On Venus, Phosphine can only be produced by life and there is no other process to make this gas. On Earth, Phosphine is released by the small microbes present in the oxygen-starved environment.
