The Aiki Jo developed by Morihei Ueshiba (O'Sensei) is a method of using Japanese staff techniques to teach the principles of Aikido.

The Jo movements in the Six Jo kata (Roku no kata) combine aspects of the 5th and 8th Jo suburi. It is also the same sequence as 13-18 of the 31 Jo kata.
