Hey! I'm going to creating After Effects as well as Sony Vegas tutorials for you guys from now on. So in this After Effects tutorial, I'll be showing you guys how to create a cool effect which involves a default plugin in After Effects and a text. This effect is called CC Split, which deforms your video images in order to create an opening in a specific region. In this region, you can animate text or image and then have the CC Split close up the region again. This effect is great for small but creative captions within your video.

I didnt have a lot of time to make a full-length Cinema 4D or Sony Vegas tutorial for this week, so I made a couple of overlays that you can use in Sony Vegas. This video covers the new plugin featured in Sony Vegas Pro 12 called the Layer Dimensionality plugin. You can use this plugin on videos and images and add more depth to them but were going to be primarily focusing on we can use it on text. Most of the settings in this plugin are pretty self-explanatory, and I tried explaining the Emboss section as simply as possible.
