I think this is my most advanced tutorial yet since I'm using new options and tools in Sony Vegas that I haven't used before. So if you're having trouble with any step of this very long tutorial, you can ask me questions in the comments below. Remember, you can only do this effect in Sony Vegas Pro versions 8, 9, 10 and of course 11. If you have Movie Studio Platinum, then you can't do this effect because the track motion feature we're using to create this effect isn't included in Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum.

This video covers the new plugin featured in Sony Vegas Pro 12 called the Layer Dimensionality plugin. You can use this plugin on videos and images and add more depth to them but were going to be primarily focusing on we can use it on text. Most of the settings in this plugin are pretty self-explanatory, and I tried explaining the Emboss section as simply as possible.
