The scrub control is a great way to view your video projects in Sony Vegas. It lets you control various speeds in which you can view your project. Meaning, you can view your project half the normal playback rate, or even 1/4 of the normal rate. A really helpful tool if you need to examine something in your video.

This video covers the new plugin featured in Sony Vegas Pro 12 called the Layer Dimensionality plugin. You can use this plugin on videos and images and add more depth to them but were going to be primarily focusing on we can use it on text. Most of the settings in this plugin are pretty self-explanatory, and I tried explaining the Emboss section as simply as possible.
