How do you do the RGB Split effect in Sony Vegas? Watch the video. This is the fastest and most efficient way of producing an RGB sort of split effect in Sony Vegas. Mind that you NEED either Vegas Pro 11 or Pro 10 because they both have the stereoscopic 3D feature. Obviously if you had Pro 9 or lower versions of Vegas or even Movie Studio Platinum, then you won't be able to do this effect. Don't mind my rambling after I show you how to enable the effect, keyframing the RGB split should be pretty self-explanatory. You have a list of options for the Stereoscopic 3D plugin, just animate each individual one and you're all set.
