In this video tutorial, I will explain the process of creating leaf shapes using strokes and pressure curve adjustments.

I create a small plant with curved leaves by altering the pressure curve, width, and colouring of the strokes. Seeing strokes don't react to Boolean operations, I use the layer blend mode 'Erase' as well as expanded copies of some leaves for added detail and shading.

The pressure curve is a powerful [and somewhat underrated] tool. I love playing with it due to its flexibility and the fact that those shapes can easily be converted to curves via 'expansion'.

Most of the functionality shown in the video can be created with other software tools such as Adobe's Illustrator, CorelDraw, or Inkscape with minor alterations and different names for the tools used.
