In this quick video tutorial from 2Dgameartguru.com, I will create a peppermint candy in Affinity Designer.
This video explains how to use basic shapes, change them and create something more complex. The swirl is done with the cog shape, converted to curves, and rotated in the centre.
Most of the functionality shown in the video can be created with other software tools such as Adobe's Illustrator, CorelDraw, or Inkscape with minor alterations and different names for the tools used.
