This mini video tutorial from 2Dgameartguru.com is about gradients across fills and strokes in Inkscape v1.3.
It gets a little tricky when you want a consistent fill across multiple objects [shapes and strokes]. This video shows you how to align multicoloured gradients to fills and strokes by using 'helper shapes'. The gradients match up seamlessly and are quick and easy to edit.

![Affinity Mini Video Tutorial - Text Deformation with the Mesh Group
Affinity Designer 2 and Affinity v3 offer Mesh/ Warp groups to deform vector content. They can also be applied to text. In this video, I warp a few lines of text into a shape [ one half of my cartoon face ].

![Affinity Designer Mini Tutorial - working with the XOR compound
I am a big fan of compounds in Affinity Designer. They are a quick and fully editable way to combine shapes to make complex elements. In this video, I will show you how to use the XOR.
XOR [exclusive or] is probably the most complex, least used, and underrated of the Boolean operations. It combines the shapes and calculates the overlay to determine fill or transparency. Even numbers in the layer overlay show transparency, while odd ones show the fill.
It can be quite useful [and very surprising at times] when working on logos, icons, or patterns... and its a lot of fun!
Most of the functionality shown in the video can be created with other software tools such as Adobes Illustrator, CorelDraw, or Inkscape with minor alterations and different names for the tools used.
