Notes
I had some issues with the sound crackling in this game using Mesen. I think this will be the first NES game I publish a video for but I have others waiting in line that were recorded prior to this with the same exact set up and they don’t have issues with the sound.
I did try this game in several other emulators and experienced differing levels of issues. I also checked other games in Mesen and these different emulators just to make sure and I didn’t encounter any problems so I’m pretty certain that it’s an issue with the game itself. Possibly this specific US version.
I did what I could to clean up the audio in my editing software at the cost of muddying it a bit. Given the abundance of loud, sharp sounds in this game, it’s probably for the best.
